Drive-in Movies

The drive in theater is a form of cinema our generation unfortunately missed by a few decades. The movie theater alterative began trending in the 1950's with nearly 4,000 drive-ins spread across the United States. In the early 1970's the consistensy of drive-in venues began to fall to to the economic boom of real estate, and the increase of the price of land. Though we may have missed drive-ins during the glory days, there are still numerous functioning drive-ins (new and refurbished) across the U.S, Like this drive- in theater in Atlanta, im hoping to be taken on a date there soon!
